Accounting Clerk

•Perform various payroll functions.•Process all invoices into the General Ledger system. •Maintain and update vendor data and payment terms as needed.•Process all accounts payable checks in a timely and accurate manner.•Track daily bank activity and process daily cash receipts, including spreadsheet reconciliation.•Assist with monthly closing as needed.Perform special accounting related projects as requested. |

The qualified candidate will be detail-oriented and have strong organizational skills. Good communication skills (verbal and written) and the ability to work well with others in a team atmosphere are necessary. Knowledge and experience with accounts payable, timekeeping systems, payroll systems, and an ERP system is preferred. Must demonstrate proficiency in Word and Excel (able to set up and work in various spreadsheets). Most importantly, we are looking for a hard worker who likes to stay busy and is willing to assist in any area of the accounting/finance department. |

This person will work primarily with internal customers and develop graphical and analytical design tools for open gearing, drive rebuilds, and new enclosed drive product lines. This position helps to reduce costs for the company. Application of design tools to engineer costs out of products, and development of computer aided design processes to streamline productivity in the design groups, will help drive company profits.•Implementation, maintenance, and on-going development of engineering analysis tools•Documentation tools development to support the engineering management systems ( ECN’s, standards, performance metrics, etc. )•Support, modify, and troubleshoot library of Vax based computational programs •Management of H&S solid model based engineering systems ( SolidWorks, CosmosWorks)Development of applicable design macros for SolidWorks and support of design personnel with training•Day- to- day support of technical community at H&S |
| Qualifications: |

•M.S. Mechanical Engineering. or equivalent, with a minimum of 5 years experience in machine design.•Strong in computer programming skills (VAX Basic, Visual Basic), all MS Office applications, File Maker ProExperience in solid model programming•Experience in finite element analysis•Good problem solving skills•Can work well in a team environment•Experience in the mechanical drive/power transmission industry a plus•Knowledge/experience with metal machining processes a plus |

Primary responsibility will be the set-up and operation of Maag gear grinders (Machines 671,672,673,674, and 679). Other responsibilities include checking of parts on the L&I checker. Also inspection of own work performed, keeping the area clean assisting others as time allows. |
